What We Do

We know how disheartening it can be if you’ve tried counseling in the past and haven’t experienced the spiritual healing and transformation you were looking for. And that makes sense, given that many counselors are only trained to ask questions and summarize a person’s thoughts and feelings to help them feel “heard” while at the same time offering no real advice or answers. Many counselors are trained to offer solutions in the form of coping skills like breathing techniques and thought-stopping. This type of counseling can sometimes be helpful, but it is always suboptimal when trying to address concerns related to spirituality. We believe that biblical counseling is the optimal form of counseling for Christians with spiritual issues and related concerns such as relationship issues, worry, workplace problems, lack of motivation, and sadness.
